I took this photo while walking around at Bingham Falls, near Mount Mansfield and Spruce in Stowe, VT. I loved how the afternoon light and early sunset started to reflect on the frozen over river and exposed pools beneath the trees. I recreated the photo in a watercolor painting after some time and this is the result.
