Camels Hump Necklace. This design is inspired by Camels Hump- one of my many favorite hikes in central Vermont, and one of the most prominent sights from the towns that surround it. A carefully hand-shaped mountain and hill is set against a patinaed sky holding a tiny orange citrine stone for the moon. A sturdy, hand-forged sterling silver bail holds this pendant to a 18" diamond-cut, seamed snake chain. I've created a tiny window behind the stone to allow light to travel through. A patina and a brushed finish highlight the curves and angles of this necklace.
From bail to base, the pendant measures roughly 3cm in length, on an 18" chain. This is a one-of-a-kind piece. No two pieces that I make will be exactly the same, as they are completely handmade from sterling silver sheet and wire.
